Challenges facing the New Zealand Economy

Families throughout New Zealand are anxious about the economy.

It seems we are in for a tough winter.

To get some in-person information and perspective for our community, I am hosting BNZ Chief Economist Mike Jones for his take on the Challenges facing the NZ economy.

I have asked Mike to focus on the following issues:

  • What are the country’s biggest challenges?
  • Is our economic future assured ?
  • Mike’s own insights about possible solutions to fixing the economy

Important Information:

The venue for the event is upstairs and there is no lift.

For those who like “artisan“ coffee there will be a coffee cart outside the venue. This will be  on a “user pays” basis.  (more ordinary complimentary tea and coffee will be available inside the room)

Parking is limited. You might want to consider alternative arrangements. The “30 Bus” that operates regularly along Manukau Rd is 5 minutes’ walk away.

Questions for the Speaker:

I am accepting pre-submitted questions so we can maximize the time available. Please email your questions to [email protected]
