The first event for 2025 will be a presentation from the Japan Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary to New Zealand HE Mr OSAWA Makoto at 1.30pm on Friday 28 February.  

HE Mr Osawa will discuss the current state of Japan, its unique culture and why it’s a successful and prosperous society.

Japan is New Zealand’s fourth biggest trading partner. It has become increasingly popular as a tourist destination for New Zealanders and is known as a safe society where levels of crime are low. It ranks highly for competitiveness and economic freedom.
